As patron of the Foundation, the Grupo Lábaro contributes with permanent advice, and with close collaboration at certain events.
The International Foundation O’Belén promotes projects aimed at young people between 16 and 21 years old, at risk or socially underprivileged. These projects seek to train and insert young people in the world of work, in sectors such as construction, gardening and carpentry.
Among the main actions carried out by the Foundation are the protection guaranteed by their centres for minors who cannot be with their families. It also has a network of host families prepared to look after minors temporarily.
In addition, it has therapeutic centres (for children with serious behavioural problems), and a network for advice and social and employment insertion. The Grupo Lábaro collaborates with these projects, by financing training material and facilitating the employment of young people in some of the work it promotes.
Among the most recent campaigns is the one designed for radio, and directed to parents with conflictive children or those who require the support of the Foundation. After the free broadcasting of the spaces of the Foundation on the radio in several programmes ("Herrera en la Onda", "Gomaespuma", "La Brújula", "Al Primer Toque" and "Te doy mi Palabra"), there were numerous calls from persons requesting the help of the Foundation.
